And so it is done. Like a servant, I am moved to the keep of Lady Aldershaw. “You must call me Evelyn.” Her eyes amused; how amused she is in her possession.
We stand in a dressmaker’s room, a room of mirrors, poufs and settees. My image in each mirror. Reflections of myself and my keeper.
The dressmaker kneels. I do not like the eyes of the dressmaker. She taunts me with her eyes.
Now the dressmaker rises. She touches my bosom, my waist, my hips. Does she blush? Evelyn smiles as she taps her parasol.
Then the dressmaker leaves. Evelyn touches me, her hands upon my arms. “I adore silk. Don’t you adore it?”
“Yes.”
“I’m so happy, Clarissa.”
I am a bride; I am Lady Aldershaw’s tender bride. Here in a dressmaker’s shop to be pampered and festooned with lace and silk.
Evelyn strokes my mouth with her fingertips. “I’m so fond of you.” She smiles. Her pearl-white teeth. Then her fingers leave my lips. She drops her hand. To stroke my bottom. My bulging. She whispers a promise for the evening, promises for the days ahead.
How eager she is: bubbling and fluttering in a froth of eagerness. She kisses my cheek, then my lips. She has a liking for breathless kisses. Her lips upon my lips. Her tongue between my lips. “How lovely you are.” And then another kiss. Her fingers at my lips. I must kiss her fingers.
She is always questioning. At odd moments, in the midst of panting, she questions me. I must admit my desire. I must be truthful. I must always yield. “My love,” she says. As I kneel at her feet. I am servant and lover. I must surrender.
The dressmaker returns. Evelyn smiles and strokes my shoulders.
